Phone (773) 935-1414 Other companies boast decades of service, but none exceeds Albert J. Wagner & Son's single-family, century-long level of experience, pride and integrity. Each job's completion is planned with time-tested, trade-proven craftsmanship where long-term results are the measure of quality and true cost effectiveness. Albert J. Wagner began his long career in architectural sheet metal work at Chicago's Colombian Exposition in 1893 which was a goldmine of trade experience due to its many architectural styles. In 1894, he started his own business in Chicago's Lakeview neighborhood, the same area where you'll find the business today. As the city progressed through its first great expansion, Mr. Wagner worked with Frank Lloyd Wright, Louis Sullivan, John Maher, and others on churches, residences and public projects. Since that time, Albert Wagner & Son has built an unbeatable reputation through the experienced management of one family. Albert J. Wagner Jr. joined the firm in 1920 and took charge following his father's retirement in 1936. The same year saw the birth of the company's third owner, Albert J. Wagner III, who would eventually welcome his son Daniel to the firm. As we did in 1894, Wagner & Son is responsible for a wide variety of projects on Victorian and Edwardian landmark homes. But we also produce jobs that are very much part of the new millennium, involving state-of-the-art technology and design, as well as some of today's cutting-edge architects, including Frank Gehry. We'd be more than happy to talk with you about projects for your home or business, and welcome you to our century-long tradition of excellence. |
